Lindsay is the owner, trainer, and premier rider at Anderson Equestrian. Lindsay’s training and riding philosophy is grounded in conscious riding. She listens to each horse’s needs and challenges herself to find the best way to partner with every horse she meets. This enhanced awareness and focus leads to a customized training program of fitness, nutrition and work under saddle. She has a clear purpose matching horse and rider: not over-mounting riders, but choosing an equine partner with whom they can grow over time. This patient approach also attracts Lindsay to “difficult horses.” She enjoys transforming them into happier, more manageable horses for their own spirit and their owner’s.
As a child in Mexico, Fidel always liked horses. In 2006, he had the opportunity to come to the United States and start working closer to them, and since then, he has dedicated himself every day to their care and well being. He enjoys this work because every day he learns something new. He takes great pride in his knowledge of horses' diet, behavior, and rehabilitation (in case of injuries) -- which allows him the ability to work with both young horses that need guidance on the ground as well as experienced show horses at the peak of their career. Fidel makes sure that every person he works with matches his level of care, attention to detail, and love for horses, which shows in the way the horses greet him and his staff every morning -- with bright eyes, perked ears, and even a few whinnies. His team makes the picture perfect, keeping the horses healthy, groomed, and looking show-ready.
